French renewable energy company GreenYellow is set to establish a 3.39-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Birigui, São Paulo state, according to an announcement from the local government on Thursday.
The facility, which will consist of 4,928 solar panels, involves an investment exceeding BRL 16 million (USD 2.8 million/EUR 2.6 million).
Upon completion, the solar park is expected to generate approximately 6.7 GWh of clean electricity annually.
This initiative is part of Birigui's broader strategy to attract new businesses and enhance the city's energy potential while reinforcing its commitment to clean energy production. GreenYellow has been active in Brazil since 2013.
