Trailstone Group, a global energy trader and provider of renewable energy management services, has announced its partnership with Danish renewables developer Eurowind Energy A/S to manage a 24 MWp solar park in Portugal.
The collaboration involves two agreements focused on physical balancing and aggregation services for the 22-MWp Triana solar plant and the 2-MWp Vale Verde small production unit (UPP).
“Portugal is a strategic market with tremendous renewable growth where we can provide renewable asset owners with unique proprietary risk management and energy trading optimization solutions,” said Ante Pogacic, Global Head of Power & Renewables at Trailstone.
Trailstone entered the Portuguese renewables market in 2023, while Eurowind Energy began its operations in the country in 2016, with the Triana photovoltaic (PV) plant being its first operational asset, launched last year.
Currently, Eurowind Energy is developing an additional 54 MWp of PV plants in northern and central Portugal and has a total pipeline of 650 MW encompassing PV, wind, energy storage, and Power-to-X projects.
