Hellenic Cables Secures Order for Leading Light Wind Project Off New Jersey Coast

Hellenic Cables has been awarded a contract to supply 65 kilometers of 132kV inter-array cables for the 2,400 MW Leading Light Wind project, located more than 40 miles off the coast of . The project is being developed by Invenergy, the lead developer, and co-developer energyRe.

Under the agreement, Hellenic Cables will deliver the cables by 2030, with production starting immediately at its Corinth, facility. The cables will form part of the wind farm's inter-array network, which is key to transferring power between the turbines and the substation.

This order further highlights Hellenic Cables' role as a leading provider of advanced solutions for the renewable energy sector. Alexis Alexiou, CEO of , Hellenic Cables' parent company, commented: “We are honoured to collaborate with Leading Light Wind on this landmark project, which strengthens the U.S. offshore wind supply chain.”
