Vision RNG Secures $207 Million for Renewable Natural Gas Development in Ohio

Vision RNG, based in Canonsburg, , has secured $207 million in project financing to develop facilities that will convert landfill gas into renewable at the Ohio landfills operated by WIN Waste Innovations, a sustainable waste and recycling company.

The financing package comprises a $130 million construction facility along with a $77 million investment tax credit bridge , as disclosed in a press statement on Wednesday. The projects aim for an initial annual output exceeding two million MMBtus of renewable natural gas, with aspirations to double this volume over the next 11 years.

The renewable natural gas produced will be marketed to customers seeking to reduce their footprints. WIN Waste Innovations, which operates a network of 49 collection, transfer, and disposal assets, recycles over 109,000 tonnes of metals from the waste stream and transforms more than 5.5 million tons of post-recycled waste into . This output is equivalent to powering approximately 294,000 homes annually.

The press release highlighted the company's commitment to sustainable practices, stating, “Our projects are designed to provide significant environmental benefits while meeting the growing demand for clean energy solutions.”
