Luxembourg-based technology services company Solutions 30 SE announced its latest investment in the solar power sector with the acquisition of Xperal, a Dutch firm specializing in design, engineering, procurement, commissioning, and maintenance services for solar projects. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
This acquisition aims to enhance Solutions30's business presence in the Benelux region and accelerate the development of sustainable energy services and infrastructure.
Xperal focuses on end-to-end business-to-business (B2B) solar projects in the Netherlands and Germany, generating approximately EUR 15 million (USD 16.7 million) in revenue in 2023.
By integrating Xperal's expertise, Solutions30 plans to offer a comprehensive portfolio of energy services, which includes smart metering, electric vehicle charging (EVC), power grid management, photovoltaic (PV) systems, and energy storage solutions.
Luc Brusselaers, Solutions30's Chief Revenue Officer, emphasized that this move positions the company to better meet the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
Earlier in 2024, Solutions30 also acquired a 10% stake in French solar firm So-Tec, further expanding its footprint in the renewable energy market.
