announced the successful installation of over 200 miles (328 kilometers) of 66KV inter-array cables at the Dogger Bank A site, marking a significant milestone in the construction of the world's largest offshore wind farm. The cables, laid by 's Viking Neptun and buried by the Living Stone, form a network linking Dogger Bank A's 95 Haliade-X 13MW turbines to the offshore converter station.

The installed cables, some extending up to 8.6 miles, connect the turbines to the offshore converter station, where electricity is converted to direct current before being transmitted to the onshore converter station via an advanced HVDC system. Extensive underwater surveys were conducted to ensure a clear cable-laying corridor.

Tekmar Energy provided the cable protection systems (CPS), which are crucial for shielding the inter-array cables from physical damage, ensuring their reliability and longevity. Tekmar's CPS technology is essential in maintaining the integrity of these cables during installation and throughout their operational life.

Furthermore, Tekmar Group business unit RYDER supported the dynamic analysis and geotechnical design for the project, ensuring optimal installation and protection of the cables considering the challenging offshore conditions. The cables were manufactured by under a contract with DEME Offshore.
