Italian utility A2A SpA has finalized an agreement with Inc to purchase electricity generated by 134 MW of parks operated by the US renewables developer in .

The power purchase agreements (PPAs) cover photovoltaic (PV) farms located in the Lazio and Emilia Romagna regions, with a 10-year term for electricity procurement. The electricity from these solar farms will supply around 86,000 Italian homes annually and reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by approximately 104,000 tonnes.

The specific names of the solar plants involved in the PPAs were not disclosed. The deal builds on an existing relationship between the two companies. Last October, A2A agreed to purchase 160 GWh of electricity annually from 97 MW of Enfinity's solar projects in Lazio, with that PPA scheduled to commence in July 2025.

The new agreements reflect A2A's ongoing efforts to enhance its green energy supply and support sustainable development in the regions it serves.
