OEG Energy Group announced the appointment of Thomas Lynch as its new Regional Director (Americas) for OEG Renewables, focusing on expanding its offshore wind operations in North America. Lynch, previously with Axess Offshore Wind, brings extensive experience in driving growth in the US offshore wind sector.
According to OEG's Chief Executive John Heiton, “We are delighted to welcome Thomas to the team as Regional Director (Americas) for our Renewables division. Thomas brings a wealth of experience working within the emerging US offshore wind market.”
Lynch's role will involve enhancing OEGR's local capabilities and resources in North America to support its ambitions of becoming a key player in the region's offshore wind industry.
The move is part of OEGR's strategy to replicate its successful model in Asia, where it has established itself as a prominent player in offshore wind markets like Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.
