AMEA Power to Construct 100-MW Solar Farm in Congo-Brazzaville

, a -headquartered developer and operator of renewable energy projects, has been selected to build a 100-MW farm in the Republic of the , also known as Congo-Brazzaville.

The company formalized its commitment through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Congo-Brazzaville, as announced in a social media post on Thursday during the Africa Energy Forum held in Spain.

AMEA Power specializes in delivering renewable energy projects across Africa, the , and other emerging markets.

Recently, the company achieved financial closure on another significant project, the 120-MW Doornhoek solar photovoltaic (PV) project in South Africa. This venture secured USD 100 million (EUR 93.4 million) in debt funding from Standard Bank South Africa earlier this month.
