Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente SA \, the Spanish solar power producer, has commenced the market search for partners for its European land acquisition vehicle, Generia, aiming to bolster its growth trajectory.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Solaria announced the engagement of investment banks Alantra and Kutxabank Investment Norbolsa to develop a strategic plan for Generia, with the objective of attracting new partners to bolster its capital base.
While the specifics of the offering to prospective investors were not disclosed, Solaria emphasized the strategic significance of land acquisition in advancing renewable energy development in Europe. Generia, established by Solaria in 2022, is positioned to play a pivotal role in securing strategic land assets for renewable energy projects in the region.
Solaria's European operations span across Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Italy, with an additional early-stage solar portfolio in Germany.
