Boldyn Networks to Provide High-Speed Mobile Network for Orsted’s Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm

has been selected to construct a high-speed mobile network at 's Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm, facilitating seamless communication and connectivity throughout the project's development. In collaboration with Orsted, the network will offer robust infrastructure capable of supporting various operational aspects, including ‘offices at sea' functionality, enabling access to essential work-related applications and ensuring connectivity for personnel stationed offshore.

The network's implementation aligns with the wind farm's commitment to sustainability, utilizing high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission technology for efficient power transfer over extended distances. Notably, this approach not only ensures reliable mobile connectivity but also contributes to cost reduction and material efficiency within the project.
