Neoen Initiates Construction of 93.9 MW Battery Energy Storage Project in Sweden

French renewables company Neoen SA announced on Wednesday the commencement of the construction phase for a 93.9-MW/93.9-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Sweden, with plans for it to be operational by the first quarter of 2025. Neoen has issued a notice to proceed to Japan's Nidec, entrusting them with the engineering and construction
