Rays Power Infra Inks MOU for 500-MW Solar Park in Uttarakhand, India

Pvt Ltd, a leading Indian solar plant developer, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government of Uttarakhand to construct a substantial 500-MW solar park in the northern region of . The agreement, signed during the climate summit, signifies a significant step toward addressing the power needs of the state.

The solar power generation complex, whose specific location and timeline were not disclosed, is anticipated to play a crucial role in meeting a substantial portion of Uttarakhand's electricity demands. Rays Power Infra announced the pact on Tuesday, emphasizing its commitment to contributing to India's landscape.

Rays Power Infra currently operates 1.3 GWp of solar parks and boasts an additional 2 GWp portfolio of projects under development. The company aims to complete and commission these projects within the next 24 months.

Beyond the borders of India, Rays Power Infra has established a presence with a 50-MW solar park in Vietnam and a 275-MWp complex in . The company is actively pursuing further expansion across the Asia and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.
