Neubulach, Germany, and EnBW have formalized a usage agreement for the proposed onshore wind farm project, marking a significant step in the city's commitment to renewable energy. The initiative is set to introduce five new wind turbines, strategically located on municipal land in Neubulach.
The turbines are slated for installation, with two positioned in the northwest of the Martinsmoos district and three in the infrastructurally stressed area of the landfill west of the Oberhaugstett district. Currently in the early planning stages, construction is scheduled to commence in 2026, with the project anticipated to commence operations by 2027.
Neubulach Mayor, Petra Schupp, expressed enthusiasm about the city's role in advancing renewable energy solutions. “We are very happy that we as a city can make our contribution to generating renewable energy and overcoming the climate crisis with the planned wind turbines and that we have a powerful partner at our side in EnBW,” she stated.
Michael Soukup, EnBW team leader, highlighted the collaborative spirit between the city of Neubulach and EnBW. “Our collaboration with the city of Neubulach is characterized by mutual trust and valuable support. After the good cooperation with the Calw district office on our wind farm project in Bad Wildbad, we can now certainly count on joint success in this project too,” Soukup added.
