Dutch utility company Eneco has forged a significant alliance with leading supermarket chain Albert Heijn, sealing a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to deliver electricity from the forthcoming 760MW Ecowende offshore wind farm. Scheduled for operation in late 2026, the partnership aims to assist Albert Heijn in achieving 50% of its energy requirements by 2027.
