Vattenfall’s South Kyle Wind Farm Reaches Major Milestone with Final Turbine Installation

, a leading European energy company, has reached a major milestone in its largest onshore development in the UK, the 240MW South Kyle in . The fiftieth and final turbine, Turbine H04, has been successfully installed, marking the end of the 11-month installation programme.

The installation of the turbine's three 64-metre blades was the culmination of an extensive project that saw 450 major components individually transported from Ayr and Glasgow to the site southeast of Dalmellington for assembly and installation.
