, a leading Nordic company, has recently announced its acquisition of the project rights to a new solar power project in , Finland. The project, which is being developed by Finnish solar power developer , is planned to have a capacity of 475 MW, making it one of the largest solar farms in the country.

According to OX2, the Huittinen solar farm is currently in the mid-stage of development and is expected to be included in the company's project development portfolio for the second quarter of 2023. The company plans to submit the necessary permits and environmental impact assessment for the project during the same year.

Once completed, the Huittinen solar farm is expected to produce around 475 GWh of energy annually, which is equivalent to the electricity consumption of about 95,000 households (assuming an average consumption of 5000 kWh per household). This could make a significant contribution towards emissions-free electricity in Finland.
