Enviromena Advances UK Clean Energy Landscape with Two Solar Power Projects Totaling 42 MWp

Enviromena, a clean energy solutions provider based in the UK, has announced its progress towards finalizing two power projects boasting a combined capacity of 42 MWp in the southern region of England. The company anticipates the completion of these projects in early 2024, according to a statement released on Friday.

The Horsey Levels solar plant project, located in Bridgwater, Somerset, boasts a capacity of 24.2 MWp and will incorporate approximately 45,200 bifacial panels. This installation is expected to generate over 28 GWh of annually, contributing significantly to the local landscape.

In tandem, the Kiln Fields project in the village of Heckfield in Hampshire features a capacity of 17.8 MWp, with 33,102 bifacial panels set to produce over 19 GWh each year. Enviromena remains on track to energize both projects early next year, underscoring its commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Enviromena CEO Chris Marsh emphasized the pivotal role these projects play in the UK's transition to Net Zero targets, stating, “These two high yielding schemes form part of a portfolio that will deliver a considerable contribution to the UK's transition to Net Zero targets, and we are looking forward to energizing both projects alongside commencing construction on a further 150MW of projects in early 2024.”

With a robust portfolio encompassing more than 2,000 MW of active solar farms and battery systems in development and operation across the UK and Europe, Enviromena stands at the forefront of the clean energy sector. The imminent completion of the Horsey Levels and Kiln Fields projects marks a significant stride towards a sustainable and resilient energy future for the region.
