Spanish crowdfunding platform Fundeen has embarked on a fundraising campaign to secure financial backing for a solar photovoltaic project in southeastern Spain.
With a fundraising goal of €550,000 (approximately $590,630), Fundeen aims to gather contributions from both individuals and companies in the vicinity of the project site.
The campaign's focus is to bolster the 5.6-MW Totana IV project, developed by Spanish solar energy specialist Soltec. Located in Totana, a town in Spain's Murcia region, the project presents an opportunity for local residents and businesses situated within a 60-kilometer radius (approximately 37.3 miles) of the solar farm.
Investors interested in supporting the Totana IV project have the flexibility to participate with contributions ranging from a minimum of €500 to a maximum of €150,000. Fundeen has calculated an internal rate of return for investors at 6.90%, offering a compelling opportunity for those eager to be part of Spain's renewable energy expansion.
