National Grid, the organization responsible for overseeing the energy systems in Britain, revealed its plans to expedite the connection of up to 20 gigawatts (GW) of clean energy projects to the electricity transmission and distribution networks in England and Wales. The company is taking significant steps to bolster the nation's transition to cleaner energy sources.
