EnBW Inks 100MW Power Supply Deal for He Dreiht Offshore Wind Farm with Deutsche Telekom Subsidiary

, the German energy company, has entered into a new (PPA) with Deutsche Telekom subsidiary Power and Air Condition Solution (PASM). Under this agreement, EnBW will supply PASM with 100 megawatts (MW) of power generated from its forthcoming 960MW He Dreiht offshore wind farm, located in the North Sea.

The PPA, structured to span a 15-year contract term, is a pivotal step in advancing the utilization of renewable energy sources. EnBW's He Dreiht offshore wind farm is slated to commence construction in May 2024, with operations expected to begin by the end of 2025. This agreement represents a commitment to the sustainable and clean energy goals of both EnBW and PASM.

Bernd Schulte-Sprenger, Managing Director of PASM, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Our partnership with EnBW under the power purchase agreement (PPA) for the He Dreiht wind farm enables us to jointly advance the energy transition and make a good contribution towards achieving our climate targets.”
