KPI Green Energy, a solar and hybrid power generation company, and Advait Infratech Limited have joined forces to develop a substantial 500-MW solar park in northern India.
The collaboration between KPI and Advait has been formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttarakhand. This solar park is set to be established as a captive power producer project, as disclosed in company filings released on Thursday.
Under the terms of the MoU, the northern Indian state's government has pledged its support in facilitating the project's execution throughout the 12-month duration of the agreement.
KPI Green Energy, a subsidiary of KP Group, specializes in solar and hybrid energy solutions and is a prominent player in the Indian power generation sector, with a focus on solar, wind, and hybrid technologies.
Advait Infratech, on the other hand, is known for providing products and solutions in the realms of power transmission, substation infrastructure, and telecommunication infrastructure.
This strategic partnership underscores the ongoing efforts to expand renewable energy infrastructure in India, and it brings together the expertise of two companies with complementary strengths in the energy sector.
