Array Technologies to Build $50 Million Solar Tracker Manufacturing Campus in New Mexico

, an tracker provider, has unveiled its ambitious plan to establish a new $50 million manufacturing campus in its home state of .

The -based company has chosen to set up this state-of-the-art 216,000-square-foot (20,077 square meters) campus in Bernalillo County, located on the west side of Albuquerque. Construction is slated to commence early next year, with Array Technologies anticipating the creation of nearly 100 new jobs in the coming years as a result of this expansion.

In support of this endeavor, the state will extend $2.5 million in economic assistance through the Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) job-creation fund. The company will further benefit from an additional $250,000 in LEDA funds from the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. Additionally, the project will enjoy partial property-tax abatement facilitated by an Industrial Revenue Bond in partnership with Bernalillo County.

Array Technologies operates in multiple locations, including New Mexico and Arizona, as well as on the international stage, with a presence in Australia, Brazil, England, South Africa, and Spain.

Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses and fostering expansion, noting that these efforts are essential for preserving jobs within the community and safeguarding the region's economic future.
