Muehlhan Wind Service Acquires Majority Stake in Professional Wind Services

Wind Service (MWS), a provider of turbine installation and maintenance solutions, has successfully acquired a majority stake in , an Australian company specializing in installation and maintenance services within the sector.

Professional Wind Services boasts an impressive track record of having installed over 2 gigawatts (GW) of wind power and is recognized for its leadership in commercial and industrial (C&I) operations, as confirmed by Muehlhan. The existing Chief Executive of Professional Wind Services, Kym Dodd, will retain a minority stake in the company and continue to oversee its day-to-day operations.

Expressing enthusiasm about the partnership, Kym Dodd stated, “We are extremely pleased to partner with Muehlhan Wind Service. This partnership will cement confidence with our current customers and potential new ones. Muehlhan Wind Service comes with many years of valuable experience, technical knowledge, and an impressive track record, and we look forward to expanding our business further together with Muehlhan.”

Professional Wind Services and MWS offer complementary services, and this strategic is poised to drive significant growth within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Dodd also highlighted the expectation of offshore wind development in , emphasizing that support from MWS positions them to provide robust solutions in the offshore wind sector.
