JinkoSolar has announced that it has reached a remarkable maximum conversion efficiency of 26.89% with its 182 mm n-type monocrystalline silicon solar cell. The company unveiled this milestone, asserting that the results have received independent confirmation from the National Measurement and Testing Center.

The achievement was made possible through the diligent efforts of the and development team at JinkoSolar, who leveraged advanced technologies, including metallization enhancement, high-energy bulk material passivation, and high-performance light trapping passivating contact technologies. These innovations collectively contributed to reaching this unprecedented efficiency milestone.
