Wales has experienced a "record-breaking" upswing in small-scale renewable energy installations, with more than 100,000 Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certified systems now actively contributing to the energy landscape since 2008. Recent data from the MCS highlights the presence of 103,506 installations, encompassing solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, and various other renewable technologies in Wales.
