Jan De Nul has enlisted the services of Jumbo-SAL-Alliance to execute the secondary steel installation for Orsted's ambitious offshore wind farm projects. The collaboration, set to take place on Orsted's 253MW Gode Wind 3 and 900MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farms, aims to propel these projects toward their operational status, expected by 2024 and 2025.
The pivotal role of Jumbo-SAL-Alliance's vessel, MV Lone, will be to install essential components including boat landings, platforms, and corrosion protection systems on the foundations of these offshore wind farms. This partnership signifies a promising stride in the renewable energy industry, with the potential to significantly impact the environment and the communities residing in the vicinity.
