Nordex Secures Dual Contracts for 135 MW Wind Power Projects in Italy

The client's identity and project names have been kept confidential at their request, adding an element of intrigue to the announcement. These wind farms will be situated in the picturesque Apulia region, known for its scenic beauty and now poised to contribute to Italy's landscape.

The Nordex Group plans to deploy a mix of wind turbine models, including 7 N163/6.X wind turbines, 4 N163/5.X wind turbines, and 9 N163/6.X wind turbines, to maximize energy production efficiency. These turbines will be mounted on steel tube towers, with hub heights ranging from 108 to 113 meters, a testament to Nordex's commitment to harnessing the full potential of wind resources.

The timeline for this ambitious project sees the installation of these wind turbines commencing in the summer of 2024, with commissioning slated for the year's end. This endeavor aligns with Italy's efforts to increase its renewable energy capacity and reduce its carbon footprint.
