NHOA Energy Successfully Deploys 107MWh Energy Storage Project for Taiwan Cement Group in China

Energy, a player in the energy sector, has achieved the successful commissioning of a noteworthy 107MWh energy storage project for (TCC Group) at its Yingde Plant, situated in Guangdong province, China.

The newly operational storage system is integrated with a 42MW waste-heat recovery system and an 8MWp solar (PV) setup within the cement plant's premises.

This ambitious project extends crucial flexibility services to TCC Group's Guangdong Yingde plant by efficiently managing energy demand peaks. Additionally, it serves as a backup for critical equipment within cement facilities, safeguarding against potential damages resulting from sudden power outages. This strategic energy management is facilitated by 's proprietary energy management system.

By incorporating NHOA Energy's cutting-edge storage technology alongside waste-heat recovery and solar energy generation, TCC Group reaffirms its dedication to advancing the energy transition and achieving ambitious carbon reduction targets.

The NHOA Energy storage initiative is anticipated to store approximately 46 million kWh of electricity annually, playing a pivotal role in providing flexibility services.
