Solarvest Holdings has successfully acquired a total of 11 rooftop solar photovoltaic installation projects in Vietnam. These projects collectively boast a capacity of 12.8MWp, signifying a substantial step towards clean energy generation in the region.
The transaction was executed through Solarvest Holdings' wholly-owned subsidiary, Solarvest (Vietnam) Co., underscoring the company's commitment to expanding its global presence. Solarvest will assume a pivotal role in these secured projects, actively engaging in various facets of their development, including financing procurement and the provision of comprehensive operations and maintenance services.

To facilitate the execution of these projects, Solarvest Holdings has entered into a collaborative partnership with a local counterpart. This local partner will oversee critical aspects of the projects, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services.
Commenting on this achievement, Solarvest's Executive Director and Group Chief Executive, Davis Chong Chun Shiong, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the company's overseas expansion endeavors. He noted that this expansion aligns seamlessly with Solarvest's five-year strategic roadmap. Furthermore, Chong emphasized that this recent addition in Vietnam brings the company's overseas project tender book to an impressive 620MWp, indicating a robust job pipeline for the Group. This strategic expansion enhances Solarvest's positioning to tap into new avenues of overseas income, bolstering its role as a key player in the global clean energy landscape.
