Soltech Energy Solutions and Solgrid Join Forces for 300MW Solar Project Development in Southern Sweden

, a subsidiary of Soltech Group, has recently formed a cooperative agreement with Norwegian PV developer and investor, , to collaborate on the development of 300MW of projects in southern . As per the agreement, Solgrid will provide the investment and ownership for multiple solar park projects, while Soltech Energy Solutions will undertake the development, installation, and operation.

This ambitious partnership entails an estimated total investment of approximately SEK2 billion for Solgrid, subject to approval of all applications. The final number of approved projects will be determined by county administrations and network owners. However, Soltech Energy Solutions anticipates an initial order volume ranging from SEK700 million to SEK1 billion during the first 3-4 years of the agreement.

Under this arrangement, Solgrid will assume ownership and investment responsibilities for several solar parks designed, installed, and operated by Soltech Energy Solutions in southern Sweden. The project sites, situated in the area known as SE4, will undergo meticulous evaluation based on existing infrastructure and their compatibility with natural and cultural elements.

Christoffer Caesar, the CEO of Soltech Energy Solutions, expressed his enthusiasm regarding the project development agreement, highlighting the company's strategic progress towards becoming a prominent large-scale project developer that attracts investors aiming to contribute to and expedite the green transition. Caesar further praised Solgrid as a highly competent partner that recognizes the benefits offered by Sweden's solar energy conditions, as well as the quality processes and collective expertise of the team.
