Trina Solar’s Tracker Business Secures Major Deal to Accelerate Solar Power in Uzbekistan

, a leading solar energy company, has recently finalized an agreement to supply an impressive 510MW of solar trackers for crucial projects in . The company's tracker division, known as TrinaTracker, has partnered with Dongfang Electric International Corporation (DEC International) to provide Vanguard 1P units for the Jizzakh and Samarkand solar power plants in Uzbekistan.

The collaboration between TrinaTracker and DEC International is set to make a significant impact on Uzbekistan's sector. Once these projects are connected to the , they are expected to generate a staggering 1.1 terawatt-hours (TWh) of clean electricity each year. This boost in renewable energy production will contribute to the country's ambitious goals of achieving 4GW of solar power capacity by 2026 and 5GW by 2030.

This latest venture marks the second exclusive partnership secured by TrinaTracker for solar plants in Uzbekistan. In a previous milestone, the company supplied an impressive 2618 sets of solar trackers for the country's inaugural solar power plant, the 100MW Nur Navoi Solar Project, which was officially inaugurated in August 2021.

Uzbekistan's focus on developing high-quality power plants demonstrates its commitment to harnessing the maximum benefits of solar energy. By partnering with TrinaTracker, the country is poised to make significant progress towards achieving its renewable energy targets and cementing its position as a leader in the solar power industry.
