Vestas, a leading wind turbine manufacturer, has recently announced the acquisition of a significant order for a wind project in Turkey. The contract encompasses the supply and installation of six V162-6.2MW wind turbines, along with a comprehensive 10-year service agreement.
The turbine delivery is scheduled for the final quarter of 2023, with commissioning anticipated in the second quarter of 2024. Although the project details and customer names remain undisclosed, Vestas has been successful in securing more than 130MW of EnVentus projects in Turkey. This achievement underlines the company's commitment to enhancing annual energy production and optimizing the business prospects for its valued customers.
