Edda Wind ASA has entered into agreements that could lead to the sale of its fleet of service operation vessels (SOVs) and commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs), including ships currently under construction.
The vessels would be divided between two buyers — North Star, a portfolio company of Partners Group, and an affiliate of Navigare Capital Partners A/S — according to Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA.
Completion of the potential transaction remains subject to vessel inspections and the fulfilment of certain conditions precedent.
Wilhelmsen New Energy AS, a company controlled by Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding, indirectly owns 37.76% of Edda Wind’s issued share capital.
Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding said further information about the agreement will be disclosed once the transaction is finalised.
“Additional information will be provided upon closing of the transaction,” the company said.
