Envision Energy has appointed Dan Hughes as director of construction and operations for its global offshore wind division.
Hughes joins from RWE, where he most recently served as head of operations and maintenance (O&M) design and implementation before leaving the role last week.
During his time at RWE, Hughes also held positions including business development manager for new markets and maintenance and engineering manager at the Humber Gateway offshore wind farm.
He is the second senior RWE executive to move to Envision in the past five months. In October, Christian Schrimpf stepped down from his role as senior vice president and development director for continental Europe at RWE to become executive vice president of offshore wind at the Shanghai-based manufacturer.
