Vayona Energy has signed a wind power supply agreement totalling 702MW with Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), the company said.
Under the deal, Vayona will supply 195 wind turbines for projects across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, strengthening TPREL’s wind generation portfolio.
The agreement pushes Vayona’s cumulative footprint in India beyond the 2GW mark, the company added.
Vayona said it is expanding its manufacturing capacity to meet rising demand while reinforcing its “Make in India” strategy. The company reported an order book exceeding 3.6GW and more than 2GW of installed capacity as of December 2025.
“This landmark agreement signed marks a significant milestone as we accelerate our journey in India,” said Prashant Jain, executive vice chairman of Vayona Energy.
“We deeply value TPREL’s continued trust and look forward to advancing collaboration and driving sustainable growth together,” he added.
Chief executive Pritesh Vinay said the company is scaling operations to support market growth.
“We are ramping up our production facilities to meet growing market demand while strengthening our commitment to ‘Make in India’,” Vinay said.
“With more than 3.6 GW in orders and over 2 GW installed as of December 2025, our 3X platform continues to earn strong market confidence in its technology and proven performance in India,” he added.
