Renvolt has signed a turnkey EPC contract to deliver the Wexford Hub solar project in County Wexford, Ireland, in a move that deepens its collaboration with ESB.
Parent company Voltalia said its services arm secured the contract, extending a partnership with ESB that already includes four projects either completed or under construction.
The group noted that ESB previously awarded Voltalia two turnkey EPC contracts in July 2025 for the 43.7MW Carriglong and 49.2MW Clashwilliam solar plants.
Under the latest agreement, Renvolt will handle engineering, procurement and construction of the Wexford Hub facility and will subsequently provide operations and maintenance services.
Voltalia said the award lifts Renvolt’s third-party capacity under construction to more than 1GW.
Chief executive Robert Klein said: “We are proud to further strengthen our collaboration with ESB through this project led by our subsidiary Renvolt. The Wexford Hub contract illustrates our ability to showcase the expertise of our teams and provide competitive and reliable solutions to support Ireland’s energy transition.”
He added that the company would continue investing and innovating to support customers’ low-carbon ambitions while reinforcing Renvolt’s European position.
Eduardo Porras, chief executive of Renvolt, said the deal “marks a significant milestone” and reflects ESB’s long-term confidence.
Voltalia said Renvolt has built or is constructing 5.6GW of projects and currently provides operations and maintenance services for 1.9GW of assets across 14 countries.
