Nordex secured 220MW of new turbine orders across the UK, Türkiye and Lithuania in January 2026, expanding its footprint in key European onshore wind markets.
In the UK, the manufacturer will deliver and install 14 N163/6.X turbines with total capacity of more than 90MW, with project completion scheduled for 2028.
Nordex also received several orders in Türkiye totalling 78MW, covering both new projects and extensions. These include the first deployments of its N175/6.X turbine model in the country.
In Lithuania, a new wind farm will be equipped with seven N175/6.X turbines in a cold climate configuration, featuring the Nordex Advanced Anti-Icing System. The project will provide 47.6MW and is expected to be completed in 2028.
Nordex said all contracts include multi-year service and maintenance agreements to support long-term turbine performance.
The company added that the orders strengthen its position in core European markets and support the energy transition through advanced onshore wind technology.
