Danish wind turbine maker Vestas has secured a 205-megawatt order in Australia, the company said, as part of its fourth-quarter intake.
The contract, with an undisclosed customer, covers 33 V162-6.2 MW turbines and includes a 30-year AOM 5000 service agreement.
Delivery and commissioning of the turbines are scheduled for 2027, Vestas said.
The order is part of Vestas’ ongoing expansion in the Australian renewable energy market, where the company has been supplying both onshore wind turbines and long-term service solutions.
