Vestas has secured three orders in Finland totaling 277 megawatts (MW) for its EnVentus turbines across the Kannisto, Korkeamaa and Salo-Ylikoski wind projects, the Danish turbine manufacturer said.
The 124 MW Kannisto project will deploy 20 V162-6.2 MW turbines, with deliveries expected to start in the second quarter of 2027 and commissioning scheduled for the third quarter of 2027, Vestas said.
The 108 MW Korkeamaa project will feature 15 V162-6.4 MW turbines and two V162-6.2 MW units, with delivery and commissioning also planned from the second quarter of 2027.
The 45 MW Salo-Ylikoski project will use seven V162-6.4 MW turbines under a 25-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement, Vestas said.
“All three projects include a 25-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement,” the company added, highlighting its long-term service commitment for turbine performance and maintenance.
