Jumbo Offshore said it has signed two contracts to transport and install transition pieces for an unnamed offshore wind farm, expanding the company’s role in foundation installation services.
The company said it will deploy one of its two DP2 heavy-lift vessels for the campaigns. The scope of work includes full management and operation of the marshalling yard, covering receipt of transition pieces at the quayside, transfer to storage, preparation for installation and delivery back to the quay for loading onto the installation vessel.
Milad Sheikhi, head of sales and business acquisition at Jumbo Offshore, said the agreements strengthen the firm’s market position. “We are proud to sign these contracts,” he said. He added that “Jumbo Offshore has been steadily building its position as a contractor in the foundation installation market.”
Sheikhi said the company’s experience underpins its work on transition pieces. “TP installation lies at the core of our expertise, supported by our in-house project management and engineering capabilities, as well as a fleet of efficient installation vessels,” he said.
