RP Global has completed the sale of a 16-megawatt-peak solar portfolio in France to Technique Solaire Group, the company said on Monday.
The portfolio consists of three photovoltaic projects. Two of the sites — a 3.5 MWp project in Vienne and a 6.7 MWp Agri-PV project in Lot — have secured building permits, CRE tender tariffs and grid-connection agreements. A third project, totalling 5.9 MWp, has received its building permit but is still awaiting final authorisation, RP Global said.
Sebastien Vouillon, co-country manager of RP Global France, said the transaction marks a milestone for the firm. “This the first sale of photovoltaic projects for RP Global France, and we are happy to see that there is a good market of smaller PV projects,” he said. Vouillon added that the company is confident the assets will benefit from “exemplary construction and operation” under Technique Solaire’s ownership.
Technique Solaire did not disclose commercial terms of the deal, but the acquisition aligns with its strategy to expand its French solar portfolio.
