Germany’s Nordex Group has signed contracts to deliver and install 28 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 102 megawatts for seven undisclosed projects in France and Belgium, the company said on Tuesday.
Each of the contracts includes a multi-year service and maintenance agreement, Nordex said. The names of the customers and project locations were not disclosed.
Turbine deliveries and installation are scheduled in the French regions of Pays de la Loire, Normandie and Grand Est, as well as in Belgium’s Ardennes and Wallonia regions.
In France, the orders total 77 MW and cover several turbine models: five N131/3000 units for one project, eight and four N117/3675 machines for two others, and four N149/4.X turbines for a fourth site.
In Belgium, where orders amount to 25 MW, one project will receive three N131/3600 turbines, while two other projects will each install four N117/3675 units.
Nordex did not comment on commercial terms but said the contracts reflect continued demand in Western Europe. The company noted that the agreements include long-term support to ensure operational reliability.
