Dajin Heavy Industry has completed the delivery of all 45 monopiles for the Nordseecluster A offshore wind project, marking a key milestone for the development in the German North Sea.
The announcement was made during a ceremony held at Dajin’s Penglai manufacturing facility in eastern China, where the company highlighted the role of close cooperation with project stakeholders, including German utility RWE.
Dajin credited the project’s timely completion to strong coordination among partners and the support received from RWE.
“We sincerely thank RWE for its trust and cooperation, which ensured the smooth and timely completion of the fabrication campaign,” the company said in a statement.
Nordseecluster A is the first phase of a two-part offshore wind development led by RWE. Dajin is also contracted for the second phase, Nordseecluster B, and expressed confidence in its ability to meet the project’s future demands.
“The completion of Nordseecluster A represents not an end but a new beginning,” Dajin said. “We remain committed to optimising solutions, enhancing service quality, and maintaining high standards in safety and project execution.”
The company added that its efforts support the broader global transition to renewable energy by supplying critical infrastructure to offshore wind projects.
The monopiles will be transported to the North Sea for installation as part of a broader strategy to expand Germany’s offshore wind capacity.
Details regarding the delivery timeline for Nordseecluster B have not yet been disclosed.
