Nordex Group secured 2,170 megawatts (MW) of wind turbine orders in the third quarter of 2025, a 26% increase compared with the same period last year, reflecting continued strong demand across its core markets in Europe and North America.
The third-quarter orders, excluding service contracts, bring the company’s total intake for the first nine months of the year to 6,661 MW, up from 5,083 MW in the corresponding period of 2024. Customers placed orders for 362 turbines across 16 countries, with the majority of demand concentrated in Germany and Canada.
Average sales prices edged up slightly to €0.93 million per MW in the third quarter, compared to €0.92 million a year earlier, supported by stable pricing conditions influenced by project scope and regional mix.
“After reporting strong order intake of over 2GW in each of the first two quarters of this year, the third quarter continued this very encouraging momentum, bringing total order intake to around 6.7GW for the first nine months,” Nordex Group Chief Executive José Luis Blanco said.
He added: “This represents a strong performance and a year-on-year increase of more than 31%. We continue to remain very confident in our ability to sustain this positive trajectory also in the fourth quarter.
