Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received three new turbine orders in Italy totalling 94 megawatts (MW), the company said on Tuesday, as part of its third-quarter order intake.
The agreements cover projects located in Vis Roboris, Castelfranco, and one undisclosed site, and include the supply of V162 and V150 turbine models, along with long-term service contracts.
In Vis Roboris, Vestas will deliver four V162-5.6MW turbines, providing 22MW of capacity. The project is supported by a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.
At the Castelfranco site, developer Campana Energie Rinnovabili has placed an order for four V162-6.2MW turbines and one V150-4.5MW unit, bringing the total capacity to 29MW. This installation will be covered by a 10-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
The third, undisclosed project includes seven V162-6.0MW turbines, amounting to 42MW, also backed by a long-term AOM 5000 agreement.
Turbine delivery and commissioning for all three projects are expected to take place in the second half of 2026, Vestas said.
The company did not disclose the financial terms of the contracts.
