LM Wind Power, the turbine blade manufacturer owned by GE Vernova, said on Thursday that chief executive Hanif Mashal will leave the company at the end of this month.
Nikolaj Toft, currently serving as executive leader of engineering and technology, will take over as interim managing director, a company spokesperson confirmed.
Mashal joined the Denmark-based company in February 2018 as vice president of engineering and technology, and was appointed CEO in February 2024. He previously held senior roles at Siemens Gamesa between 2012 and 2017.
LM Wind Power did not provide a reason for his departure.
GE Vernova acquired LM Wind Power in 2017 as part of its strategy to expand in the wind energy sector.
