Germany’s federal network agency has awarded 2,271 megawatts (MW) of solar capacity in its latest auction for ground-mounted and certain non-building solar installations, following strong competition among bidders. The 1 July 2025 tender saw 313 bids submitted for a total of 2.82 gigawatts (GW), exceeding the 2.266GW on offer, the regulator said in a statement.
