Vestas has received orders totaling 950 megawatts (MW) for undisclosed wind energy projects in the United States, the company said on Monday.
The Danish turbine manufacturer did not provide details on the specific projects or turbine models but confirmed the contracts are part of its latest order intake in the North American market.
The announcement comes a day after Vestas disclosed a separate 40MW order in Poland from an undisclosed customer. That project will feature 10 V138-4.2 MW turbines operating in 4.0 MW mode and is scheduled for commissioning in 2027.
The U.S. remains one of Vestas’ largest and most active markets, although the company has increasingly withheld specific customer and project information due to confidentiality agreements.
Vestas said the new U.S. orders underline continued demand for wind energy solutions in the region, though no additional commercial or technical details were released.
