Danish wind turbine services provider FairWind has named Alexandra Hof as regional head of service for Northern Central Europe (NCE), the company said on Monday, as it aims to strengthen its presence in key European markets.
Hof, who brings more than 18 years of experience in product management and operations, most recently served as senior product management leader for offshore wind services at GE Vernova. In that role, she led multi-disciplinary teams and developed technology roadmaps to support commercial growth across Europe.
At FairWind, she will be responsible for all aspects of the NCE service business, including financial performance, execution of service and maintenance projects, and driving operational and strategic key performance indicators (KPIs).
“Alexandra’s appointment marks a significant step in the evolution of our regional strategy,” said Gustavo Valbuena, regional director for NCE at FairWind. “Her deep industry experience and customer-centric mindset make her an ideal fit to drive excellence across our NCE service operations.”
FairWind said Hof’s leadership will be instrumental in advancing its focus on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and regional business development.
“I’m honoured to join FairWind at such a defining moment for the industry,” Hof said. “This role brings together everything I care about: people, purpose, and the chance to make a real impact on the energy transition.”
She added, “The NCE region is vital to Europe’s green energy vision, and I look forward to working with our talented teams and trusted partners to deliver outstanding service excellence and lasting value for our customers.”
Founded in 2008 and based in Vejle, Denmark, FairWind operates in over 40 countries with more than 1,700 technicians, offering full-scope wind turbine services across the lifecycle of renewable energy assets.
